It's Official - The Crown Office Is Full Of Sickos

When it comes to 'throwing a sickie' (taking days off due to illness), nobody does it like the corrupt Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service.

Yes folks, the COPFS are leaps and bounds above staff in all other areas of the civil service when it comes to taking days off on the sick.

Figures out show that sick days at the COPFS are up by 20% in just three years.

A Crown Office spokesman has been quoted as saying: "Staff welfare is of the utmost importance and support systems are in place to help staff deal with the demands of their role".

What a load of old tosh. I don't believe it for one minute.

Staff at the COPFS are under no more or no less pressure than anyone else who works in any other type of job in any other industry.

The real reason COPFS staff throw so many 'sickies' is so that no one single member of COPFS staff ever has to work exclusively on any one case.

When a member of staff throws a 'sickie', another member of staff has to step in to his/her shoes and cover the work in that case for the absent colleague.

And what that means is when the excrement eventually hits the ventilator when COPFS have messed up a case (which happens with alarming regularity) the screw-up can never be traced back to any one single person in COPFS so nobody can be blamed for the failures.

See how it all works now?

"Wasn't me, big boys did it and ran away."

Yip, avoid all blame at all costs.

It should be their motto because they've been working on this very basis and trotting out these lame excuses for their failures for decades.
