Have you ever heard of assistant chief constable John Mauger?
You probably haven't.
However he's been in the news recently because he's not a very happy bunny at all.
Seems those terrible colleagues of his at Police Scotland have just revoked his top level security clearance from him, and he's livid.
So livid in fact that he mounted a legal challenge over it - and lost.
I can't think why he lost.
After all, it's not just £115,000 a year top cops with top level security clearance like assistant chief constable Mauger who take £250,000 loans off convicted criminals and then say they don't even know where the criminal who loaned them a quarter of a million quid lives.
I mean, we all do that every day don't we?
Nothing dodgy in it at all.
Move along now, nothing to see here.
